PUT FORD TOUGH TO THE TEST ON THE FUTURE OF TOUGH TOUR

written by Carolyn Briggs August 18, 2016

Just how tough is Ford Tough?

Ford wants you to find out for yourself on the Future of Tough Tour, which is essentially a debutante ball for the new 2017 F-Series Super Duty.

Through November, Ford will be bringing a variety of F-250, F-350 and F-450 vehicles equipped with different trim packages to cities from Montana to Florida for towing demonstrations and test drives.

Ford calls the new F-Series trucks, which come equipped with adaptive steering, adaptive cruise control and Trailer Reverse Guidance, the toughest, smartest, most capable Super Duty ever.

“Truck customers can learn how it provides best-in-class towing and hauling, and they’ll get to experience Super Duty’s class-exclusive features from the best place possible – the driver’s seat,” says Doug Scott, Ford truck group marketing manager.

Ford will end the tour by giving away an all new Super Duty, which you can enter to win at any event.

Register for a test drive at SuperDutyDrive.com, or just show up on the day of and wait in line. We recommend making reservations in Dallas, you know they love trucks in Texas.

So take a day and test the F-Series Super Duty. If nothing else, you might leave with a slightly hairier chest.

All-new 2017 Ford F-450 Super Duty Platinum Crew Cab 4x4 Class 3 dual-rear-wheel pickup is the top-of-the-line luxury model and tow boss of the lineup. It can pull heavier gooseneck and fifth-wheel trailers than ever.

I grew up on the road. As a child, my family took regular trips from Wisconsin to both coasts. That's how I've seen most of this country — through the window of a car. Years later, I still feel that excitement when I toss my bags in the trunk and get behind the wheel. That's how seeing something new always begins. I've scaled mountains, dived with sharks, and stepped to the very edge of the Grand Canyon, all because I spent hours in a car. This site combines my passion for the road with my actual talent — communication and journalism. In college I rose to the position of managing editor for The Badger Herald, the largest independent student newspaper in the country at the time. I spent a year after graduating in social media marketing before moving off the grid to explore the wild beauty of West Virginia.
