After yesterday’s qualifying we were stoked for the green flag to fly at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. Unfortunately the race turned out to be in Scott Dixon’s words, “Just a bit blah.” We blame Firestone. They did their jobs too well and now the alternate tires last too long and aren’t really that much faster than the primary tires.
Still there was a lot to like and a lot to unpack for the last race before we head to Indianapolis for the month of May. We go through the good and the bad of the race, give the results to our Victory Lane predictions game, and update our Rides & Drives IndyCar Team Championship standings.
